Agustin Carrillo:

Different Options for Problem Solving using Graphic Calculators

To recognise the role of the resources in the learning process is an objective
that will help to modify certain habits of work in the classroom, to change
the traditional methodology and to adapt the curriculum in order to benefit
from the advantages which it offers.

Starting from a single calculus problem about maximums and minimums, we
propose different ways to solve it using the graphics calculators TI-83 and
TI-92.

The various alternatives let you work with different students, according to
their interest, motivation and learning rhythm, offering different
possibilities to solve them, even with different levels of difficulty.
