Title: Distributed symbolic computation with the black box representation
Authors: Angel D\'iaz and Erich Kaltofen

Abstract: The DSC system for distributing a symbolic computation
over a network of processors was designed with the intention of distributing
computational tasks, such as factorization or sparse interpolation,
on symbolic expressions represented by black boxes for their
evaluations. We have begun of implementing these algorithms both
as Maple prototypes and as a high-speed compilable special purpose
system (FoxBox). We will report on our goals and exhibit the current
functionality of our implementation on test problems.
