Math 1250 (formerly 153) Pre-Calculus and Trigonometry

 

Description: In-depth study of functions required for Math 162 and163: polynomial, rational, exponential logarithmic and

trigonometric functions (graphs, applications, use in equations). Includes conic sections, parametric equations and

applications in geometry. Combines the key ingredients, provided by Math 150 and Math 123, and needed for calculus, into a single 5 credit hour class.

Prerequisites: ACT=>25 or SAT=>570 or MATH 121 (with a grade of C or better) or Compass College Algebra >54.
