Short Course & Annual Spring Meeting April 10, 2003
The Albuquerque Chapter of the American Statistical Association
will be holding its annual meeting on April 10, 2003 at Intel in Rio Rancho.
The meeting will consist of a short course given by Dr. Luis A
Escobar entitled "Statistical Methods for Reliability Data".

The course is jointly sponsored by the ASA, the Department of
Mathematics and Statistics at UNM, Los Alamos National Labs, and Intel.
The general schedule for the course is:
- 8:30am-12:00pm - Course Part I
- 12:00pm-1:30pm - Lunch (on your own)*
- 1:30pm-4:00pm - Course Part II
The registration fee is $40 ($15 for students), which includes
participation in the course and printed course materials, as well as light refreshments
in the morning.
All registration fees will be collected at the door on the morning of the course.
Please make checks payable to ASA - Albuquerque Chapter.
*Lunch will be on your
own, but we will be reserving space at a local restuarant for all who are interested
in eating with the group (please indicate on the registration form whether you'd
like to join
the group for lunch).
Tours of Intel's facilities will be given on a first-come-first-served
basis following completion of the course - if you are interested in taking a tour,
please indicate this on the registration form.
